Our Ministries

HOPE CEnter

In partnership with local families and communities, the HOPE Center supports 150 children facing severe economic hardship with meals, school supplies, clothing, and hygiene essentials. Weekly access to a computer lab and Khan Academy helps children build skills and grow in confidence.

 Giving Hope Prison Project

When mothers in Arba Minch prison have no one outside to care for their children, their children stay with them. We provide daily meals for these children, along with clothing, shoes, toys, and beds—bringing comfort and practical care to their daily lives.

House of Hope

Our goal for 2026 is to pilot a loving foster home for children living with their mothers in prison. The home would offer opportunities to attend a neighborhood school, build friendships, and experience life beyond prison while their mothers complete their sentences.

Help Sustain This Work
Your monthly support helps provide meals, learning opportunities, and practical care for children and families—and helps us plan for the future

Join the Hope Holder Community

Before we ever held hope for another, God faithfully held us.
Become a Hope Holder

Hope Holders is our covenant community of monthly partners. By giving predictably every month, you provide the steady foundation that keeps our programs running without interruption.

As a heartfelt thank-you for your faithful support, we invite you to download the HELD journal—a space to pause, reflect, and be reminded that you, too, are held. As you help sustain hope for others, may these pages offer a moment to nurture hope in your own heart.

Our Impact

OVER 500,000 meals served

Food insecurity can be devastating. For many of our children, before joining our program, the thought of their next meal was all consuming. Now, their grades and behavior have improved because they know for sure they are going to eat.

Over 500 Children Served

It only takes one child to change a community. Imagine the change that can come from 500 children.

Countless Families Impacted

Love For Ethiopia started serving children in 2009. Many of the original children have exited our program and now have children of their own.  Over 16 years our projects have grown and changed but our mission of serving God and His children has always remained the same.

Join the Hope Holder Community

Walking in grace together, this growing community provides the steady engine behind daily meals, care, and discipleship for imprisoned women and impoverished children in Ethiopia.
