Our Misson
Love For Ethiopia’s mission is to holistically empower the children of Ethiopia, who are living in extreme poverty, with education, food security and health care.

our Goals

LONG TERM GOALS

1. Widow's Hope Poultry and Livestock Development Project- Through this program a widow is entrusted with a cow, sheep and or chickens. She can immediately begin to provide food for her children. She also gets ongoing support from SHAPEthiopia (our partner organization) on animal farming and husbandry skills. 
2. Widow's Hope Handcrafting and Small Business Project- The objective of this project is to train widows, who live where they cannot have livestock, the skills of handcrafting (pottery, sewing, bamboo crafts), money saving and small business management skills. We want to help them to use these skills to produce products to generate income for their families. 
3. Purchase land that will serve as our feeding center and staff offices. 

SHORT TERM GOALS

1. Fully fund the Arba Minch HOPE Center (have all 150 children sponsored) 
2. Develop a leadership program with our children 
3. Work with the local government to make sure all of the needs of the children are being met.
