Our Programs

HOPE CEnter

The local government of Arba Minch has identified 150 children as the poorest of the poor in their neighborhood, Love for Ethiopia has come alongside of the families and communities to provide these children with meals, educational supplies, clothes, and hygiene products. These children also have weekly access to a computer lab which enables them to access Khan Academy. The hope for the lab is to help them excel in their studies as well as have video that present literature in English.

 Giving Hope Prison Project

In Ethiopia, if a mother gets sent to prison and does not have anyone to look after her children, then her children go with her where the child will have to share a bed and food with their mother. Love For Ethiopia is providing daily meals to the children in the Arba Minch prison. We also provide clothing, shoes and toys for each child.

House of Hope Village

Our goal for 2025 is to pilot a foster home for the older children in the prison so that once their mother is released the will have understanding of the world outside of the prison system. The foster home will also provide a loving environment where the children can attend a neighborhood school and have friendships outside of an institutionalized system.

Our Impact

OvOver 500 Children Served

It only takes one child to change a community. Imagine the change that can come from 500 children.

Countless Families Impacted

Love For Ethiopia started serving children in 2009. Many of the original children have exited our program and now have children of their own.  Over 16 years our projects have grown and changed but our mission of serving God and His children has always remained the same.

OVER 500,000 meals served

Food insecurity can be devastating. For many of our children, before joining our program, the thought of their next meal was all consuming. Now, their grades and behavior has improved because they know for sure they are going to eat.
